Welker Lambs
Earlier in the spring we were contacted by the Welker Family who raise lambs, asking if we would like to participate in an "Adopt a Lamb" Program. We were more than excited to partner with them for this project. Each grade was given 3 lambs to vote on to adopt. We then got weekly updates explaining all about lamb care and husbandry. We also got to watch our lambs grow. Today we got to meet our lambs! The Welkers brought our 4 adopted lambs to the school to meet our students. We got to pet each one and learn more about lambs and lamb care. Students loved getting hands-on time with these adorable lambs. Check out the pictures below!
Evacuation Drill
We have one more Evacuation Drill to complete. With the wonderful weather coming up, we are planning on having it next week.
Testing & Screenings
Next week, we have iReady Diagnostic testing and we will also be hosting our PK/K screenings. If you know of someone that has a PK or K age student that they plan on registering for the fall, please have them reach out so they can take part in the screening process.
Star Lab is Coming!
Next week the Star Lab will make a visit. This is an exciting opportunity for students to see the stars and learn more about their solar system. Students will be participating either on Wednesday or Thursday. Make sure to ask your child what they learned from this amazing experience.
